Our Future on Earth 2020

New report from Future Earth launched

On February 6, 2020, Future Earth´s "Our Future on Earth 2020" report was released. The report summarizes current results on the situation of our planet and clearly shows connections and dependencies. It covers a wide range of topics - from climate to oceans, biodiversity, global political developments, food supply, migration, risks and opportunities of online media, sustainable economic structures up to digitalization and social transformation.

Part of the report is a survey among scientists who see five global risks as the greatest threats to humanity: Failure to adapt to and mitigate climate change, extreme weather events, biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse, and food and water scarcity.
