Sustainability Science Summit 2025

The event Advancing Sustainable Development: Sustainability Science Summit 2025 will take place from 19–21 February 2025 in Kassel, Germany, with the Kassel Institute for Sustainability as the local host. The summit continues the series of the German Future Earth Summits organized by the German Committee Future Earth (Deutsches Komitee für Nachhaltigkeitsforschung in Future Earth, DKN). It offers a forum for national and international sustainability science, including but not limited to, activities within Future Earth and the World Climate Research Programme.

We invite session proposals on fundamental approaches in sustainability science, on the structure of the science and research landscape, on the interface of science and policy making and practice, as well as on the role of international networks and cooperation.
